We act in disputed claims, defence and coverage issues involving domestic and international litigation and arbitrations. Reinsurance

Reinsurance is a field requiring specialist expertise in the customs and practices of the international marketplace. Our lawyers have been at the heart of that marketplace for the last 30 years. We are active in a broad range of reinsurance business, including alternative risk transfer, facultative, ILS backed, proportional, non-proportional and treaty.

Directors’ & Officers’ Liability

Our lawyers have many years’ experience of advising on Directors’ & Officers’ duties and the insurances taken out to indemnify against losses caused by the breach of such duties and the costs of defence. Run-off

Insurance and reinsurance run-off, or “legacy business” as it is often called, has become a specialist class of business, traversing all other classes of insurance and reinsurance on an international basis. Our lawyers have advised insurers and reinsurers on legacy issues over many years and have experience of working in-house at run-off organisations.

Broking & Agency
