Carter Perry Bailey acts in marine insurance coverage disputes.  In reinsurance we have experience in dealing with issues arising from hull and cargo, facultative and treaty, accounts.  We also have experience of reinsurance disputes arising from original claims under shipbuilding refund guarantees. We have also acted in aviation reinsurance and general aviation insurance coverage issues. We have handled issues arising from both marine and aviation binding authority arrangements and broking agreements.

Marine and aviation insurance and reinsurance disputes are by their nature often international. Our extensive international network of specialist insurance and reinsurance law firms enables us effectively to co-ordinate representation involving overseas jurisdictions and advice on foreign laws. We have extensive experience acting in and co-ordinating international litigation and arbitration.
