Before joining Carter Perry Bailey, Jackie worked as an associate attorney at Neil Dymott Frank McFall & Trexler in San Diego, California. There, she handled various types of civil litigation from initial instructions through to appearing as counsel at trial. Her main practice areas involved acting on the instructions of insurance companies in the defence of professional liability and medical malpractice matters. However, her practice also included mortgage fraud, and at her previous firm Jackie had considerable experience of eminent domain (compulsory purchase), real estate and ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) litigation. Jackie's practice now covers a wide range of insurance and reinsurance coverage issues as well as more general commercial litigation and arbitration.
Jackie was one of the founding members of the Irish American Bar Association of San Diego and she served as President from 2008-2009. She is also the holder of two Irish Dancing National Titles.
