In addition Bill Perry is the President of the IADC (International Association of Defense Counsel). He is the first non-US President of this, the oldest international association of insurance and corporate counsel. Stephen Carter also holds senior positions in the FDCC (Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel). Both IADC and FDCC are international associations of lawyers chosen by invitation only, each member being closely investigated to ensure professional distinction and high moral standing.
